I’m embarrassed by how long it’s taken me to post about the next swap. Between the holidays and the new job it’s been a crazy couple of months. But today is the day, the next Food Swap date has been announced:

Welcome Londoners!

Happy news that London Ontario is the latest Canadian city to be organizing a food swap. I had the pleasure of being interviewed by up-and-coming newspaper man and Masters of Journalism student Patrick Callan from the University of Western Ontario about our swap here in Guelph, and he filled me in on London’s first foray into swapping. I’m imagining how fun it would be to organize a massive inter-city swap and meet swappers from all over Ontario! Will keep you posted on that one…

Please join foodies and sustainability enthusiasts for these activities. The Potluck lunch is from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. The Food Swap is from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. For the Food Swap, please bring homemade preservesand baked goods, and fresh foods you have grown or foraged yourself. The only currency is food. Bringing some extra for samples is encouraged so that people know what they are getting for their trade.
